AVENCE was born from the conjunction of two different ways of tackling the same problem, and the need to work in diverse teams to achieve common goals.

At AVENCE we put egos aside, to focus on solutions.
Inspired by major vascular centres in the USA and the UK, we combine the diagnostic and interventional skills of vascular radiologists with the clinical and surgical knowledge of vascular surgeons and general surgeons specialising in proctology. All this, under the common denominator of humility, honesty and vocation to help our patients.
He graduated in Medicine from the University of Navarra and completed his first speciality in Radiodiagnosis at the Clínica Universitaria de Navarra.
He subsequently practised as a vascular and interventional radiologist. He completed his training in vascular and neurovascular radiology at John Hopkins Hospital (Baltimore, USA), Rangueil Hospital (Toulouse, France) and Gui de Chauliac Hospital (Montpellier, France) among others, for more than two years.
Later, while working as a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist at the Dr Peset Hospital in Valencia, he decided to complete his training with a new speciality, in line with his passion for clinical contact with patients and classical surgery. He therefore decided to embark on completing his training with the speciality of Angiology and Vascular Surgery, which he studied at the Hospital General Universitario de Albacete.
He has worked as a Vascular Surgeon at the Hospital Universitario de La Ribera (Alzira, Valencia) in recent years.
He is currently focused on his passions, which are minimally invasive treatments of venous pathology and patient care.

As a researcher, he is an integral member of the Instituto Murciano de investigación Biosanitaria, in oncological pathology.
Author of several books, book chapters and publications related to the speciality.
He has been Collaborating Professor at the University of Murcia and Coordinator of Healthcare Practices.
Professionally he works at the Hospital Clínico Universitario de la Arrixaca as an Assistant Physician.
Currently, he has turned his interest and professionalism to the treatment of venous pathology by means of a minimally invasive approach.
